Spotted at Peg Leg Pete’s here in Pensacola (delicious seafood restaurant, by the way).
A BMW 6-Series convertible with two Recaro child seats in the rear. Winning.

Eh, I’d just use an old bucket and some straps. It’s cheaper that way.

I’d hope you have higher hopes than a bangled 6series. At least get a Maserati.

Well I the recarro seats, at least

Not really the car in particular that I aspire to. It’s the fact that they didn’t let having kids make them buy a stupid minivan or crossover and fill it with Pop-Tart crumbs and Pixar DVDs.

Unpopular opinion: I like the Bangle Butt BMWs.

Probably grandkids.

I like them in certain variations. Like this one. But the 7-Series sedans - yuck.

I think the 7ers front of that era was far worse.
It’s literally the saddest looking car ever. It looks literally hopeless. I just wanna give it a hug and tell it it’ll all be okay and big bad Mr. Bangle can’t hurt it anymore.

How...how have I never seen this unspeakable tragedy of automotive abuse?

Agreed. Tough to do when the lil monkeys are rear facing. Once they be in boosters, time to get another sporty car.

I have no idea.

It looks like it just got dumped but has had a few days to stop wallowing in self-pity and is now just a numb shell of its former self.

That’s literally the most perfect description of the E65 I’ve ever heard.

Coolest grandparents ever, then. I got carted around in a Chrysler New Yorker when I was little and at my grandma’s house.

I aspire to not be a parent but I drive around with the dogs in the back of my convertible. They even have their own booster seats and an adapter that connects their harness to the seat belt.
Oh God, I think I’m one of those dog parents.

My dog has a car seat too! :)
